Our family has farmed this land in west-central Illinois for seven generations. That history matters—but what matters more is what we do with it today.
We’re the first generation in our family to raise pasture-raised pork and offer it directly to local families. We started doing this because we wanted better food for our own tables and more transparency in how it’s raised.
When you buy from us, you know where your food comes from and who’s responsible for it. You’re choosing pork raised with care, accountability, and the same standards we use to feed our own families—rooted in a long history of stewardship, but focused on doing things the right way now.

At Flacco Land & Livestock, exceptional pork doesn’t happen by accident. It starts with the animals we choose and the way they’re raised.
We raise registered, purebred Berkshire hogs—widely respected for their superior meat quality, natural marbling, structure, and depth of flavor. That genetic foundation matters. From there, we raise them on pasture with access to forages and thoughtfully selected natural feeds that support steady growth and proper finish.
Every decision—from genetics to nutrition—is made with one goal in mind: nutrient-dense, flavorful pork that cooks well and tastes the way pork should.
The result is pork with rich flavor, firm texture, and clean, well-developed fat—raised slowly, finished intentionally, and produced to a standard we’re proud to serve our own families.

Legacy
Flacco Land & Livestock has a deep-rooted history in the heart of west central Illinois. For seven generations, the Fluke family has worked this land — weathering seasons, raising crops and livestock, and building a tradition that stretches back to the Civil War. What began with our ancestors has continued through our grandparents who still farm this land today.
Now, we’re honored to carry that legacy forward by raising pasture-raised pork and sharing it directly with families in our community. While we embrace modern practices and new ideas, our foundation remains the same: hard work, stewardship, and a genuine love for the land we call home.
